Hey!!! Oh my gosh, guys. YOU HAVE NOT LIVED UNTIL YOU HAVE SEEN HANSON LIVE!!! We're dead serious (for once). Isaac was SO awesome. He kind of was the lead singer. And him in WHITE!!! Oh, he was just so angelic looking!!! Tay was just as hot as usual, and he made the girls squeal when he took of his top shirt (don't get too excited...ONLY the top shirt!!!). Zac was kept VERY low-profile by Walker...his voice is changing!!! He can hardly do "Fly, on the wings, of and eagle, no matter how high, I'll be thinking of you." It comes out more like a growl-squeak. Poor kid. We can't imagine him with a deep voice!!! Oh well!!!
The opening band was AdmiralTwin and they were AWESOME!!! Ashley figured that they would be a horrible country band from Oklahoma...but instead, they were sort of punk...or ska with out the trumpets, as Michelle says!!! We couldn't believe it!!! And the COOLEST thing is, Jarrod Gollihare's the DRUMMER!!! Ash swore he was a guitarist!!! But we're definitely getting their CD!!!
Well, Hanson rocked out with "Gimme Some Lovin'" followed by some songs off of Middle of Nowhere and 3carGARAGE. For these first 4 or 5 songs, the set looked like OIL RIGS. It was neat looking, and the lighting was SO cool!!! After that, they had their set switched to a really cute lookig thing...a living room!!! Zac and Ike were on sofa chairs (even when Zac was on the drums!!!) and they performed a few acoustic (meaning acoustic guitar...for some songs Tay and Zac played their normal instruments) songs. "Soldier" and "With You in Your Dreams" were the dominent songs here. That was so cute. At the end, Taylor and Zac went backstage...Ike stayed out for "More Then Anything" and his solo on the piano (and singing). WOW. That's the word. Wow. HE was so awesome. Really. And oh so HOT!!! Mmm... (hey...where's the "bop"?? Hehehe).
After the acoustic set, they put the stage back to the original setup. Following this was at least 14 more songs, probably more, including a part where they introduced the rest of the band (back-ups and stuff)!!! On this song with no words, Taylor took the drums!!! Zac was sitting down at first, but then Tay took the drummer's seat, and they switched without missing a beat!!! While Tay was showing his drumming style, Zac got this mischevious look on his face and went backstage. He came out with a huge water gun, and sprayed the crowd!!! It was really cute!!! It was the only time he was actually hyper, really!!! Hehehe.
Anyway, after "MMMBop" and "Man from Milwaukee," they said they were finished. They shouted "Good night!" and went backstage. Everyone figured it was over, so they started leaving. But we stayed. Then, from backstage, Zac goes "Do you guys want us back?" We shouted as loud as we could. The he said, "Are you SURE you want us back?" The crowd screamed even louder!!! So they came back out and did "Look at You" and a cover called "Summertime Blues," which, at the end, just says "There ain't no cure for the summertime blues!" like a million times. Tay got the crowd so into it!!! He shoved the mic in peoples faces and stuff!!! It was cool!!!
And just in case you were wondering, the covers they did were called:
"Gimmie Some Lovin'"
"Good Love"
"Ever Lonely"
and
"Summertime Blues"
We both loved it!!!
One more note...Hanson expected us not to sit down. Trust us, we didn't sit down!!! But they're expecting all you other people with tickets in your hands not to either. Have fun!!!
And as Michelle says, "We've been to Albertane...and back." The coolest thing is, WE'RE GOING TO ALBERTANE AGAIN! Actually, THREE again's! There's more tour adventures to come, no doubt!
